At one point I say that “I eat this way to make my system acidic…I meant to say ALKALINE …an acidic body is what sets the enviroment for chronic disease. The ideal ratio is: alkaline ash-producing food intake: 80%; acid ash producing food intake: 20%. There are 2 charts of acid/alkaline foods. One tells of whether the food is acid or alkaline before eating it; and the other is whether the ingested food is acid or alkaline within the body. I go by whether the food is alkaline or ash producing in the body.
